Hey there, I’m Candice Pardy, the Founder and CEO of Jobloads. People often ask me why I started Jobloads, curious about the journey behind the platform. Let me take you through it.


Originally, I was a retail merchant in Sydney with a successful career. But I felt a pull to return to my roots in Gisborne, so I bought a persimmon orchard. My plan was to manage operations smoothly, support our site manager, and outsource additional work to a contracting team.

But as the harvest season hit, the tasks piled up—finding contractors, ensuring compliance, coordinating labels, inducting workers, booking trucks. The sheer volume was overwhelming. Our focus on fruit quality slipped, and the packhouse noticed before we did.

The result? A costly wake-up call. Despite months of hard work, much of our fruit wasn’t fit for market.


A New Way to Manage Seasonal Work

Determined to find a better way, I initially created a simple marketplace app and ran Jobloads as a labour contracting service. But I quickly realised seasonal businesses needed more than just labour—they needed a centralised platform to manage the chaos of seasonal work.

That’s how Jobloads was born: a comprehensive job management solution designed for seasonal industries.
