Job Statuses Explained for Suppliers

Understand the job statuses in Jobloads to manage your workflow efficiently. Here’s what each status means for your jobs.

1. Proposed: Submit Your Job Proposals

Meaning: A job has been listed by a hirer, and you can submit a proposal.
Actions:

  • Review the job details and submit your proposal.

  • Communicate with the hirer to clarify requirements.

Transition: Moves to Requested if your proposal is accepted.


2. Requested: Review Job Request

Meaning: The hirer has selected you, and a job request is awaiting your confirmation.
Actions:

  • Review the request and accept or decline.

  • Clarify any job details if necessary.

Transition: Moves to Job In Progress if accepted or Declined if rejected.


3. Job In Progress: Actively Working

Meaning: The job is in progress, and you are delivering the service.
Actions:

  • Complete tasks as per the agreed terms.

  • Communicate with the hirer for updates or changes.

Transition: Moves to Completed once all tasks are done.


4. Upcoming: Prepare for the Job

Meaning: The job is scheduled to start on a future date.
Actions:

  • Ensure all preparations are complete, including team allocation and resource readiness.

Transition: Moves to Job In Progress on the start date.


5. Completed: Finalised Job

Meaning: The job has been completed successfully.
Actions:

  • Submit final deliverables and request feedback.

  • Ensure payment processing is complete.

Transition: Remains in this state unless the hirer requests revisions.


6. Cancelled: Job Ended Early

Meaning: The job was cancelled before completion.
Actions:

  • Communicate with the hirer to resolve outstanding items.

  • Close the job and document the cancellation reason.

Transition: Can occur from Upcoming or Job In Progress.


7. Declined: Request Rejected

Meaning: You declined a job request from a hirer.
Actions:

  • Communicate with the hirer if the situation changes.

  • Continue browsing for other job opportunities.

Transition: No automatic transitions; manual updates are needed.


8. Expired: Job Listing Timed Out

Meaning: The job request expired before any action was taken.
Actions:

  • Notify the hirer if you’re still interested.

  • Look for other active job listings.

Transition: Automatically moves to Expired based on time limits.


9. All: Monitor All Job Stages

Meaning: View and filter jobs across all statuses.
Actions:

  • Quickly access jobs at different stages for better organisation.
